Straight Face, Drinking Game Rules

Read the ridiculous sentence without cracking, harder than it sounds.

Setup: Everyone writes 2–3 absurd, deadpan, or unhinged sentences on separate slips of paper (the funnier read aloud, the better). Fold them into a bowl. Drinks ready.

How to play:

1. On your turn, draw a slip and read it aloud, clearly, to the group.
2. Smile, smirk, giggle, or break in any way while reading, drink 2 sips. Read it stone-faced and you're safe.
3. The group is allowed (encouraged) to stare at you while you read. Discard the slip; turn passes left.

Refill the bowl whenever it runs low.

Straight Face, Variations

• Assigned reader: The writer of each slip picks who must read it, weaponized comedy.
• Double slip: Read two slips back-to-back as one continuous statement.
• Poker face panel: The reader survives only if nobody else laughs either, the whole table plays defense.
