Quidditch Pong, Drinking Game Rules

A theatrical beer pong variant: hoops, a snitch cup, and a broom between your legs at all times.

Setup: Two teams at a pong table. Each team arranges three small cup clusters as "hoops" worth escalating drinks, plus one special cup set apart, the snitch. Every player holds a "broom" (broomstick, pool noodle, or mop) between their legs for the entire game. Quarter-fill all cups.

How to play:

1. Teams alternate throws like normal beer pong: sink a hoop cup and a defender drinks it and pulls it.
2. Defenders may use their free hand to swat bounced balls, but never let go of the broom. Dropping your broom = sit out your team's next throw and take a sip.
3. The snitch cup can only be shot at once all of a team's hoop cups are gone. Sinking it wins the game outright.

Winning: First team to clear the opposing hoops and sink the snitch wins; losers finish any remaining cups. House-vary freely, this game exists to be customized.

Quidditch Pong, Variations

• The bludger: A second, differently-colored ball that may be thrown at any time to knock an opponent's hand off a swat, one bludger throw per team per game.
• Keeper's save: Each team may fully block one incoming shot per game with their broom, declare “keeper!” as you swing.
• Golden snitch hunt: Hide the snitch cup somewhere in the room before the game; either team may end the game at any time by finding it and sinking a shot into it from the table.
