Questions, Drinking Game Rules

Category: Party & Verbal Games · Players: 2+ · You’ll need: Drinks only

A conversation made only of questions, answer with anything else and you drink.

Setup: Circle, drinks.

How to play:

1. The starting player looks at anyone and asks a question: "Why are you smiling?"
2. That person must immediately respond with a question aimed at someone else (or back at the asker): "Shouldn't you mind your business?"
3. The chain continues, questions only, no answers, no statements.
4. You drink if you: answer with a statement, hesitate too long, laugh instead of asking, repeat a question, or ask something that isn't really a question.
5. Whoever drank restarts the chain.

Questions, Variations

• Elimination bracket: Drinkers are out; the circle shrinks to a final 1v1 question duel.
• Eye contact rule: Questions only count if you hold eye contact, laughing away is a sip.
• Topic lock: All questions must stay on one absurd topic (“pigeons”) until someone breaks.
