Pyramid / Beeramid, Drinking Game Rules

Category: Card Games · Players: 3+ · You’ll need: 52-card deck; drinks

A bluffing game, you win drinks by having (or pretending to have) cards that match the pyramid.

Setup: Lay a face-down pyramid on the table: a bottom row of 5 cards, then rows of 4, 3, 2, and 1 on top. Deal every player 4 cards. You may look at your cards once, then keep them face-down, memorize them, because you can't look again.

How to play:

  1. Flip one pyramid card at a time, starting from the bottom row.
  2. If the flipped card matches the rank of a card you (claim to) have, point at any player and say "drink." They drink the row's value: 1 sip for the bottom row, 2 for the second, up to 5 for the top.
  3. The target can accept and drink, or say "Bullshit" to challenge you.
  4. If challenged, flip your matching card. If you really had it, the challenger drinks double. If you were bluffing, you drink double. Either way, put the shown card face-down again (or discard it, house choice).

The game ends when the top pyramid card is flipped and resolved.
