A shout-along drinking game set to The Killers' "Mr. Brightside", the song everyone already knows by heart.

Setup: Drinks ready, cue the song.

How to play:

1. Drink every time "destiny" or "jealousy" is sung.
2. During the fast second half of each verse (the breathless part everyone screams along to), drink continuously until the chorus arrives.
3. When the final line lands at the end, everyone finishes what's in their glass.

Team variation: split trigger words between players so everyone dreads a different lyric.

Mr. Brightside, Variations

• Assigned words: Deal each player their own trigger word from the lyrics, everyone dreads a different line.
• Silent singalong: Anyone caught singing along drinks, nearly impossible, which is the point.
• Encore rule: The song plays twice back-to-back; round two swaps everyone's trigger words.
