I'm Going to the Bar, Drinking Game Rules

A memory game with a growing shopping list.

Setup: Circle, drinks.

How to play:

1. Player one says: "I'm going to the bar and I'm ordering… a margarita."
2. Player two repeats the whole sentence and adds an item: "…a margarita and a plate of nachos."
3. Each player recites the entire list, in order, then adds one new item to the end.
4. Forget an item, scramble the order, or stall out, drink 2 sips and you're out of the round. The list continues among survivors.

Last player able to recite the full list wins and hands out 3 sips.

I'm Going to the Bar, Variations

• Alphabet order: Items must proceed A, B, C… easier to remember, harder to invent (“a Negroni… and some Quesadillas”).
• Actions attached: Each item comes with a gesture that must be performed during recitation.
• Sudden death: One mistake eliminates; the list keeps growing among survivors until one remains and hands out 5.
