The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly, Drinking Game Rules

A flip game with three fates, give, take, or everybody suffers.

Setup: A shuffled deck in the middle. Sip counts: number cards as printed (or capped at 5), J=1, Q=2, K=3, A=4, agree first.

How to play: On your turn, flip the top card:

• The Good, any red card (hearts/diamonds): you give out that many sips, split however you like.
• The Bad, clubs: you drink that many sips yourself.
• The Ugly, spades: everyone drinks that many sips.

Pass the deck left after each flip. Play through the deck.

The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly, Variations

• Reassigned suits: Pick your own mapping each game, e.g. hearts = give, diamonds = take, clubs = everyone, spades = make a rule.
• Showdown Aces: Any Ace triggers a quick-draw: last player to slap the table drinks the card's value.
• Ugly escalation: Each spade flipped raises all future “Ugly” penalties by 1 sip.
