Dodge Beer / Beer Dodgeball, Drinking Game Rules

Beer Ball's rowdier cousin, hit the cans, chug while they scramble, and steal drinking time.

Setup: Two teams of two at opposite table ends, each player with an unopened can on their table edge corner. One ping pong ball. (Dodge Beer and Beer Ball overlap heavily, pick one rule set for the night.)

How to play:

1. Teams alternate throws at the opposing cans.
2. On a hit, the throwing team cracks their cans and chugs while the defenders chase the ball down.
3. Defenders stop the chugging by retrieving the ball and tapping it on top of a hit can.
4. The signature dodge rule: after your can has been opened, defenders may swat or catch incoming throws mid-air to protect it, hence the name.

Winning: First team to legitimately finish both beers (chugging only during earned hit-time) wins.

Dodge Beer / Beer Dodgeball, Variations

• Four cans each: Two per player, all must be emptied and flipped upside-down to win.
• Catch bonus: Cleanly catching a throw before it hits your can awards your team a free hit's worth of chug time.
• No-look rule: Hits from no-look or trick throws can't be swatted on the next defense.
