Dice Baseball, Drinking Game Rules

Baseball simulated with one die, every roll is an at-bat.

Setup: 1 die. Split into two teams (or play 1-on-1). Track bases with coins, caps, or a sketch of a diamond on paper. Decide innings, 3 is plenty.

Roll results:

• 1 = Single (batter to first; runners advance one base)
• 2 = Double (runners advance two)
• 3 = Triple (runners advance three)
• 4 = Home run (everyone on base scores)
• 5 or 6 = Out

How to play: The batting team rolls repeatedly, moving runners and counting runs, until they collect 3 outs, then the other team bats. A run scores whenever a runner crosses home.

Drinking: The batting team drinks 1 sip per out; the fielding team drinks 1 sip per run scored against them. After the final inning, the losing team drinks the run difference.

Dice Baseball, Variations

• Two-dice edition: Roll 2 dice for more outcomes, 2 = HR, 3 = triple, 4 = double, 5–6 = single, 7 = walk, 8–9 = out, 10–11 = double play, 12 = everyone drinks (rain delay).
• Home run derby: Skip innings, 10 rolls each, most 4s wins, losers drink the difference.
• Extra innings: Tie games go to sudden death, one at-bat each until broken.
