Cho-Han Drinking Version, Drinking Game Rules

The classic Japanese even-or-odd dice bet.

Setup: 2 dice and a cup or bowl. One player is the dealer.

How to play:

1. The dealer shakes both dice in the cup and slams it upside-down on the table, hiding the result.
2. Every other player calls "Cho" (even total) or "Han" (odd total).
3. The dealer lifts the cup and adds the dice.
4. Everyone who called wrong drinks 2 sips. If everyone called right, the dealer drinks 2.

The cup passes left each round so everyone deals.

Cho-Han Drinking Version, Variations

• Wagered sips: Bet 1–5 sips before the reveal; wrong callers drink their bet, right callers assign it.
• Dealer's edge: Ties or drops go to the dealer, all callers drink 1.
• Triple dice: Three dice, same even/odd call, pure superstition, maximum table drama.
