Bus Driver, Drinking Game Rules

The stand-alone version of Ride the Bus's brutal final phase, clear a row of cards without hitting a face card.

Setup: One dealer with a shuffled deck. Deal a row of 6 face-down cards in front of the player "driving."

How to play:

1. Flip the row one card at a time, left to right.
2. Number cards (2–10) are safe.
3. Any J, Q, K, or A: drink (J=1, Q=2, K=3, A=4 sips), then the dealer deals a fresh row of 6 and you restart from card 1. (When the deck runs low, shuffle the discards back in.)
4. Your ride ends when you flip all 6 cards with no face cards or aces. Then the next player drives.

Bus Driver, Variations

• Escalating route: Each restart adds one card to the row, the bus literally gets longer as you fail.
• Mercy cap: After 3 restarts, chug once and you're free.
• Passenger rule: The rider may nominate one “passenger” who shares every drink with them, choose your enemies wisely.
