Bullshit / Cheat, Drinking Game Rules

Category: Card Games · Players: 3+ · You’ll need: 52-card deck; drinks

A lying game: dump your cards by claiming they're something they might not be.

Setup: Deal the whole deck out. Whoever has the Ace of Spades starts (or just start left of dealer).

How to play:

1. Play goes in rank order: the first player must play Aces, the next player 2s, then 3s, and so on (after Kings, loop back to Aces).
2. On your turn, place 1–4 cards face-down on the pile and announce them as the required rank: "two 5s." You may be lying, you can play any cards at all.
3. Anyone may shout "Bullshit!" before the next player goes. Flip the played cards: if the claim was a lie, the liar picks up the entire pile and drinks 2 sips. If it was true, the accuser takes the pile and drinks 2 sips.
4. You can't skip your turn, if you have none of the required rank, you have to bluff.

First player to empty their hand wins; everyone else takes a finishing drink.

Bullshit / Cheat, Variations

• Double deck: Two decks shuffled together, now “five 7s” might be true, and calls get much harder.
• Sip per card: Whoever takes the pile drinks 1 sip per 5 cards in it instead of a flat 2, late-game calls become terrifying.
• Anything goes: Players may claim any rank (not the next in sequence), pure bluffing, no structure.
