Beer Ball, Drinking Game Rules

A 2v2 race: hit the other team's cans with a ball to earn drinking time, first team to finish their beers wins.

Setup: Two teams of two at opposite ends of a table. Each player stands one unopened can of beer near their corner of the table edge. One ping pong ball.

How to play:

1. Teams alternate turns; each player throws once per turn, aiming at the opposing cans.
2. Hit a can (any contact counts): your whole team immediately grabs their own cans and chugs, you crack them open on the first hit.
3. You must stop chugging the moment a defending player retrieves the ball and touches it back onto the table. Defenders should scramble fast.
4. Cans must stay on the table edge between hits; once yours is empty, flip it upside-down to show it's done.

Winning: First team with both cans empty wins. The losers finish theirs anyway, house rules.

Beer Ball, Variations

• Four corners: Four individual players, one can each, free-for-all throws, first to finish their own beer wins.
• Slam stop: Defenders stop the chug by slamming the ball on the table instead of touching it, louder, more contested.
• Trick shot bonus: A behind-the-back or bounced hit earns a double-length chug (defenders must retrieve and slam twice).
