Arrogance, Drinking Game Rules

Category: Skill & Coordination Games · Players: 2+ · You’ll need: Coin or ping pong ball; center cup; pitcher of beer

A gambling game where the bet is how much you pour, and the pot is always live.

Setup: One empty cup in the middle, a pitcher or bottles of beer to pour from, and a coin (a ping pong ball and a bounce shot works too).

How to play:

1. On your turn, pour as much or as little beer into the center cup as you dare, this is your show of arrogance.
2. Call heads or tails and flip the coin.
3. Call it right: you're safe, the cup (with everything poured so far) passes to the next player, who adds their own pour on top and flips.
4. Call it wrong: you drink the entire cup, however full it's gotten. Then it starts empty with the next player.

Small pours are safe and boring; big pours build a monster for whoever finally misses.

Arrogance, Variations

• Card version: Flip a card and call red or black instead of a coin, identical odds, more theater.
• Pot cap: Set a maximum pot (e.g. one full cup), once reached, the flip is forced on the next player with no pour.
• Double dare: After a correct call, you may flip again to pass the pot on, or pour more first, at your peril.
