Frequently asked questions

What is Ridrunkulous?

Ridrunkulous is the drinking game headquarters — a free collection of drinking games you can play right in your browser, plus a searchable encyclopedia of rules for 100+ classic drinking games. No app download, no sign-up. Play on one phone passed around the table, or start an online room and everyone joins on their own phone with a room code.

What are the best drinking games to play?

Popular favorites include King’s Cup, Three Man, Beer Pong, Beer Die, Ride the Bus, Most Likely To, Would You Rather, and Never Have I Ever. Ridrunkulous lets you play many of these instantly online, and has printable-style rules for dozens more — from card and dice games to party, music, and pong games.

Can I play drinking games online with friends?

Yes. Create a room, share the 4-letter code, and everyone joins on their own phone — no downloads. The host picks the game and can switch games without anyone rejoining. Games like Would You Rather, Most Likely To, Trivia and Liar Liar are built for everyone voting or answering on separate phones.

Do I need alcohol to play these drinking games?

No. Every game works with any drink — swap in water, soda, or a mocktail and play exactly the same way. Ridrunkulous is for adults of legal drinking age; please drink responsibly and never pressure anyone to drink.

How many players do you need for a drinking game?

Most drinking games work with 2 to 10+ players. Card and dice games like King’s Cup or Three Man are great for 3–8 around a table; voting games like Would You Rather and Most Likely To scale to big groups; beer pong and beer die are typically 2v2. Each game’s rules page lists the recommended player count.

How do you play Beer Pong?

Two teams stand at opposite ends of a table with cups arranged in a triangle. Teams take turns tossing or bouncing a ping-pong ball into the other team’s cups; land a shot and the other team drinks that cup and removes it. First team to clear all the opponent’s cups wins. See the full rules and variations in the Ridrunkulous rules encyclopedia.

How do you play Beer Die?

Beer Die (also called Snappa) is a table-toss game for two teams of two. You underhand-toss a die so it arcs above eye level and lands on the opponents’ half of the table; they try to catch it after one bounce. Missed catches, sinks into cups, and dropped dice score points and drinks. Full rules are on the Beer Die rules page.

Are these drinking games free?

Yes — every game on Ridrunkulous is free to play in your browser, with no account required. There’s also a physical Ridrunkulous card deck if you want the original game away from a screen.
